In today's fast-moving digital age, the way Malaysians seek entertainment and place bets has changed significantly. Smartphones are no longer just communication tools — they are entertainment hubs, financial management devices, and now, a complete betting platform. Recognising this reality, v87 has developed a mobile app that doesn't simply port the web platform's features onto a smaller screen, but genuinely optimises every aspect of the playing experience for mobile users.
The v87 app was born from a deep understanding of Malaysian players' habits and needs. The v87 development team spent months interviewing players from across the country — from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, from Penang to Johor Bahru — to understand what truly matters to them. The result is an app that feels purpose-built for you, not just a scaled-down version of the desktop platform.
One of the biggest challenges in developing a mobile betting app in Malaysia is the wide variation in network quality across the country. Users in major urban areas may enjoy fast 5G, while those in rural areas may have to rely on inconsistent 3G connections. The v87 app is built to perform well under all these conditions.
Through adaptive data compression technology, the v87 app automatically adjusts live casino video streaming quality and odds update speed based on your current connection speed. This means even when you're in an area with weak coverage, the app continues to run smoothly — odds update, bets are processed, and games keep going without frustrating interruptions.
For players concerned about security when betting on a smartphone, v87 has implemented a multi-layered security system that provides comprehensive protection. Every app session is secured by the same 256-bit SSL encryption used by Malaysia's leading banking institutions. This means all data — including login credentials, account information and financial transactions — is transmitted in a form unreadable by any third party.
The v87 app also offers full biometric login support. iPhone users can use Face ID or Touch ID to log in in under a second, while Android users can use fingerprint or facial recognition depending on their device's capabilities. This is not only more secure than a regular password, but also far more convenient and faster.
No need to install multiple apps to access different game types. The v87 app brings all game categories together in one lightweight, well-organised package. Sports betting covers over 30 sports including football, basketball, tennis, badminton, cricket and esports. Players can bet before a match starts or live during the match with odds updated in real time.
The Live Casino section of the v87 app delivers an experience that comes close to being in a real casino. With high-quality video streaming technology, you can watch real dealers shuffle cards and spin the roulette wheel directly from your phone screen. A wide range of tables is available around the clock — from standard baccarat tables to VIP tables with high betting limits for more serious players.
Financial convenience is one of the v87 app's greatest strengths. All popular payment methods in Malaysia are integrated directly into the app — no need to leave the app to complete a transaction. DuitNow QR lets you make a deposit simply by scanning a QR code with your banking app. FPX supports all major banks including Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, RHB, Hong Leong Bank and AmBank.
For e-wallet users, Touch 'n Go, GrabPay and Boost are all supported for deposits and withdrawals. Funds arrive in your v87 account within seconds after payment is confirmed. Withdrawals to e-wallets are processed in 5 minutes or less — among the fastest in the industry in Malaysia.
Unlike some platforms that rarely update their apps, the v87 development team releases updates on a regular basis. Each update brings performance improvements, new features and bug fixes based on real user feedback. Android users will receive automatic notifications when a new version is available and can download the update directly within the app, while iOS users will be notified through the appropriate channel.
In the latest update, v87 introduced a personal analytics dashboard that lets players view a summary of their betting activity — including total bets placed, win rates by sports category, and their biggest wins on record. This feature not only helps players understand their own habits, but also supports more responsible gaming practices.
If you encounter any issues while using the v87 app, help is just a few taps away. The live chat function built directly into the app lets you reach the v87 support team without having to switch to a browser or call a phone number. v87 support agents operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and communicate fully in Bahasa Melayu.
The average response time for in-app live chat is under 2 minutes — meaning you rarely have to wait long for assistance. Support covers technical app issues, account and transaction enquiries, as well as guidance on how to use new features introduced in the latest updates.
